With reasonable care in packing, your machine will not get broken in transit.

Do yourself and your machine a favor and pack it properly; if you don't, you are basically leaving the fate of your treasured appliance up to a bunch of strangers. Count on your package receiving rough treatment. Don't blame the shipping company for what you could have prevented! With proper packing you can prevent virtually all shipping damage.

If your machine arrives here broken in transit, we will send you an email photo and you can  decide if you want to pay to have the remains shipped back to you.

Important Packing How-to:

Please pack the machine in an oversize sturdy box; there should be at least three inches of clearance all around the machine from the sides, top, and bottom of box. Stuff this clearance tight with crushed newspaper or foam.

Pack the machine firmly in packing material. The machine should be immovable and tight in the packing medium. The packing medium should be tightly packed under, on all sides, and over the top of the machine. Crushed newspaper is good if you use enough of it to make the machine absolutely secure. If you have used so much newspaper that it is hard to shut the box flaps, you are on the right track. Even if you wrap the machine in bubblewrap, it is still crucial that you fill the empty box space tightly with packing material.

Please Do not send bowls or beaters! Detach Sunbeam mixer unit from base and do not send base.

Questions? Contact us.

Unless you specify otherwise, we return your mixer to you using the most reasonable carrier for the job. Actual shipping amount will be added to your invoice.

Save on shipping for bulky bowl-lift K5-A and K5SS mixers: The motor head is simple to remove; just unscrew the four bolts on the underside. No need to send the stand, unless it needs repair.
